Analysis of Biogas Component Production during Anaerobic Digestion of Sour Cabbage in Microaeration Conditions under Different pH Conditions

Influences of following anaerobic digestion (AD) parameters like microaeration, pH, and VSS (Volatile Suspended Solid) using sour cabbage as substrate was checked in the publication. Results fermentation under condition small oxygen addition presented this research can be classified dark (DF—a special case AD) or hydrogenotrophic digestion. The investigations were carried out for two concentrations 5 g VSS/L 10 at pH 6.0. flow rates (OFR) range 0.53 to 3.3 mL/h obtaining 2% 8% oxygen. At low ethylene production observed a level below 0.05% biogas. highest volume hydrogen obtained rate 0.58 O2 mL/h, giving concentration biogas 0 20%. For g/L mL/h; 0.021 L produced per gram VSS. 1.4 6.0, 0.03 generated gram. Microaeration from 0.87 propitious VSS/L. Another relevant factor is volatile suspended solid substrate. Optimal 89.32%.
